Went to FOP yesterday, it's reallieee cool! Got to see Don Moen & CCC Youth in person! Although most of the songs by CCC Youth are somehow unfamiliar, we just sang in one accordance to One Audience! I find their lyrics simple, which brings us back to the fundamental. No BIG words or chim chim words, sweet and simple, like a young child to his/her Father...
I really think Don Moen has a great and anointed voice from God! He can reallie sing very very well! He has this voice that mend broken hearts and touch our soul, thank God for him!!! He's also very skilled! He knows how to play piano and violin well, and he has great stage presence, very 'zai' one! No sign of nervousness or anxiety, maybe you can say that it's because he's experienced with these type of things and all... But i think the truth is, God was and is with him!
And Nick Vujicic (LifeWithoutLimbs.com) WAS THERE!!! That was a pleasant surprise to me and the others around me! I couldn't believe that i was seeing him, in real person, IN SINGAPORE! Then i felt this "positive-goosebumps" right through by body when i saw him, so heartwarming to see someone filled with overwhelming perseverance and hope in his life...! He has been and will be a great example to all mankind...
I quite like the teaching regarding pulpit ministry and marketplace ministry, pulpit ministry meaning to just stand behind the pulpit on the stage and preach with little or no personal touch with the lost ones...
Whereas marketplace ministry is reallie going into our workplace, schools, business and public etc... to spread the gospel and touch and understand the people's need and troubles... Jesus was more of a marketplace minister, He always spends His time with the people with His disciples, healing them, helping them, forgiving them etc and you'll never hear Jesus slacking at home doing nothing nor going up to some stage behind the pulpit to just share a teaching and home He goes after that... Inspiring teaching that i would like to apply!
I would also like to highlight the only female lead guitarist/lead vocalist in CCC Youth! HAHAHAHA! Fel and I unanimously agreed that she's REALLIEEE VERY 'ZAI'! I think she can be an inspiration to all the rockstar-wannabe sisters out there! She's REALLIE COOL LAR!!! In the ending HIGH PRAISE, she delibrately 'dropped' herself down to the floor and kept rolling & moving and then came up and rolling on the floor once more! And kept "enjoying" herself in the midst of praising God! How I wished I could be as daring like her larrr! She reallieeeee gave her whole self to Jesus and you can see she's reallieeee enjoying every second of it! She's my inspiration too!!! Oh and did I tell u she's reallieee daring?! LOL!
