Been such a long time since i last blogged! HAHA! Let me share with u guys 1 memorable thing that happened! There's this fun-fair-cum-performance event thingy @ orchard point (beside Cuppage Plaza). On 3 Dec, which is a saturday, i was walking past the stage with this new, silver, shiny, bright, polished, big (i guess u get the point lar.. LOL!) DRUMSET! For those who dunno me, i'm seriously into music, especially drums!!! It's my passion to play for Christ!
I saw that drumset and i was like "OH MY GOODNESS! A DRUMSET!" and was frantically pointing at it and telling donovan that i so want to play that drumset NOW! And if only i could... HA! Guess what?! The host who was apparantly off-stage saw my "enthusiasm" and "eagerness" to want to play the drums. And she was signaling to me, asking me whether i wanna play or not. I was shocked!!! HAHA!!! Didn't expect that coming! And i was like "Huh?! No lahhh... it's ok...!!! Never mind lahh..." but inside me was like "YES! YES! YES! I WANNA PLAY! PERSUADE ME! ASK ME AGAIN AND I'LL COME UP AND PLAY!!! PLEASE!!!" LOL!!!
And there you go! I went up! But the problem was, there was no other musicians larr... to play with me. So jus so happen-ly, the "north" grp leaders came out of S11 and saw me! And i was like asking someone to be the guitarist! So somehow, DK was kinda like "sabo-ed" and he came up! Thank God! We discussed and we realised we are lack of a vocalist! Aha! Everyone "sabo-ed" Priscilla! LOL! And thank God once again, presenting theeeeeeeeee: "LAST-MINUTE-SET-UP-TRIOS-BAND"!! LOL! We discussed and we settled for the song "Everyday" to jam and perform! It was so cool lar! My heart was pumping crazily and my whole face was red and HOT! Was filled with the eagerness and nervous-ness to perform!!! OH MAN!!! That feeling was phenomenon!!! Everybody was praising along while we performed! Kudos to Hope Church ppl!!! I love you guys for supporting us! Especially North and NYP! Wow! The crowd was BIG! And more crowds came in, the public! Guess they were attracted to the high atmosphere and enthusiasm that the Hope ppl were GLOWING with! Kudos to u guys again!
After we performed "Everyday", we decided to performed another song "Come and make my heart your home", a slow song!
Oh man! While playing, i saw some Hope ppl closing their eyes and worshipping the Lord! (Who says u can't worship in the public! LOL!) That feeling was more than satisfaction! It's my honour to let God to use me in praising and worshipping Him!
OH MAN!!! I really thank God for giving me this GREAT opportunity for me to display my "for-God-only-humble-talents". It convicts me to even wanna play for the church congregation! Oh Lord! I'll praise YOU with my DRUMS!!! Thank You Lord!
