Had my French oral group-role presentation today, was very funny cos one of my group members forgot her lines, so there's few seconds of silence before the "kind-hearted" lecturer cared to help her... Thank God we got thru...
Start of fast today! At library PC blogging, just did a short prayer with the Lord about John 3:16. This question really struck me before: "what if Jesus did not die on the cross and resurrected?", or in other words, "what if there's no such thing as a Saviour?" How miserable life would be right? Everyone, YES, every single one of us will be heading for destruction no matter how many good deeds we had done in our entire lives, nothing can help us, not even Priests!!! Well, thank God that God is a loving God and not a sadistic one. He send His one, YES, ONE and only SON, to die for us! Is that sacrificial or what?
Ask yourself, are u willing to give up one of your favourite things for your enemies and those who persecute you? I doubt so! Let alone giving up your ONE and ONLY son (if you have one)! So God really made the sacrifice for all of us, even though we cursed God, use the God's name in vain and worshipping idols, He actually still love us! Imagine you are God, I think this world will be doomed cos all of us are carnal!
John 3:16, a simple and easy-to-remember verse but filled with His love all over the passage... We born AND die but Jesus was born TO die... Food for thought!
