i'm so sadden with the tsunami tragedy, looks like it's a talk-of-the-town nowadays. I didn't realise how serious and major it was until i saw the number of people who died and counting and counting...
i've seen many, or should i say, much dead bodies on the ground as if they belong to none. But truth is, they belong to someone, that is God...
it's true that some of the corpse shall never be found, but more importantly, are their souls saved?
You might be asking, why did such tragedy happen even when God is in control? Did God create it? Why is God so cruel and unfair and yet He said He love us? Is He a hypocrite?
Well, God is not fair, He's just. He judge accordingly. And yes, He's still in control, yesterday; today and forevermore... No, He ain't a hypocrite. I will not say that i totally understand why and what God is doing, but i'm sure that He trying to tell us something...
For the Christians, God might be trying to tell us to quickly preach the Gospel to those countries yet to be conquered, it might be a fore-warning of His coming, you'll never know. For all you know, He's coming back tomorrow. Nobody knows, only God knows.
For the non-believers, God might be trying to tell you that you really need Him in your life. Man can be strong but life is vulnerable and fragile. You'll never know WHEN you'll gonna go and WHERE you'll gonna go. Life is so unpredictable right? So trust in Him, He's the only way. Don't take my word for it.
"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6
Other beliefs might tell you that they know the way or they will guide you to the way, but why follow when you can be sure of the one and only way that you're following, Jesus?
God is showing us something, have you discovered it?
